Short Biography: Dr. Yegon holds a BSc. Agriculture and MSc. Soil Science of Egerton University, Kenya and a PhD in Soil and Water Management of Sokoine University of Agriculture. She has worked for six years in the Kenya Agricultural Extension system in the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development and the County Government of Baringo. She has 19 years University teaching experience, six at the University of Eastern Africa, Baration and 13 at the University of Embu. She served as Chair of the Department of Land and Water Management for three years and Water and Agricultural Resource Management for four years. She is a farmer and community facilitator and the patron of the University of Embu Drama and Film Production.
Research Interests: Soil and water management, Soil organisms, Community empowerment and post-harvest management technologies.
