Short Biography

Felix Rotich is a plant pathologist at the University of Embu. Is a member of the research group that is working on the development of rice with durable resistance to blast disease in Africa. Has performed a wide range of research on rice blast disease including pathogen diversity studies and breeding for resistance. Also worked on bacterial wilt of potato, passionfruit woodiness disease, and anthracnose of beans. 

Research Interests

Plant pathogen characterization, plant disease management, and breeding for resistance to plant diseases.
